A can’t-miss episode with the legend himself, Cody Canada. Ahead of their sold-out reunion shows in Oklahoma and Texas, the former Cross Canadian Ragweed frontman stops by the podcast to talk about what led them to finally get the band back together and how that all came to be, being a huge part of the rise of the Red Dirt scene when they were coming up, his career in music after Ragweed ended, raising kids who have the music bug and much more.

Great interview and insight with Cody!
You also need to share the hell out of this! I started watching when you had Dillon Carmichael on, and you’ve kept nothing but great artists on!
Isn’t it Miranda Lambert that said she won’t do the anthem? Maybe I’m crazy.
One of my favorite people of all time, despite growing up around music and kind of knowing how to play guitar. It was Cody and Ragweed that absolutely launched me down the path of writing and playing music and searching out as many songwriters as possible
Back in the day use to watch Cody Canada and Jason Boland play acoustic under the dome at Eskimo Joe’s, definitely was spoiled being at OSU 94-98…
The let down that Cody did NOT mention must have really struck a nerve with him.I FINALLY got to meet Cody in Richmond and the second thing he said to me was " what would you have done if I was an asshole" And I replied I would have been 1 right back..we laughed and talked for awhile..he even gave me a couple of guitar picks.Class act.
Hell Yes! ????????
