Why Chords Are Just Like Taco Bell

I’m starting a tutorial series to help explain songs, while also giving insight about what makes songs tick, how to play different styles and techniques, how to hear chords, and many other lessons along the way.

In this episode, we’re learning about basic chords and formulas for major, minor, diminished, and augmented triads. We’ll also learn about inversions and chord voicing, and how using Taco Bell’s strategy of making four ingredients into 1000 menu items is very similar to how music is constructed.

Let me know what you’d like to learn! I’ll do my best to cover it in a future video. Rock on!
