  • I prefer the fixed bridge of the LP or Tele. For that with a Strat, there's really only one model, Robert Cray Strat. Otherwise, the set up for a Strat is a Term bridge system. Whether it's a Fender Trem or a Floyd Rose, it's not a string & play like a LP or Tele. I get there is the Bigsby for the fixed bridge conversions. One can watch Crossroads and see that Blues is just as good with any of the fixed bridge guitars.

  • Strats look cooler but I prefer the warmer and wilder tone of a Tele. Also the innermost tone pot of a strat is a hand cutter if you forget to adjust your strumming position.

  • I started with a Squier classic vibe stratocaster and it's still my favorite guitar. I got a telecaster with humbuckers and still pick up my Squier. Good content especially for beginners Shane.

  • Muddy Waters main guitar until his death was a Fender Telecaster. B. B. Kings main guitar until his death was a Gibson ES-335.

  • I have tried a few Telecasters because I love the look, however all the Telecasters I have tried I haven't gone for as they felt scratchy and not very comfy to play compared to my strat and PRS guitars so I haven't purchased one yet but I would love to but the guitar has to feel quality for me or I won't buy it!

  • I am a Strat , Les Paul player historically however over the last couple of years I have moved to the Tele. More so the Artist Guitars reliced Tele just because it’s a freaking awsome instrument.. ????????????
