Wishbone Ash – Lifeline – Bass Cover (Best)
COMPLETE and CORRECT (My Best Effort) Transcription of Martin Turner’s bassline with the great Wishbone Ash from their 10th studio album LP album entitled, ‘Just Testing’ released in 1980.
Note: I actually discovered three (3) notes which appear corrected in this newest video.
It was a pleasure and a challenge to attempt to transcribe and sightread this four (4) pages of standard notation here containing all the ad-libs, riffs, and nuances as performed by the great bassist Martin Turner.

My bass is a Rickenbacker 4003 Jetglo bass manufactured in February 2018 with its original pickups.
Neck pickup volume at 10, Bridge pickup volume at 8; (NO PRE-AMP USED or Needed)
Neck pickup tone switch at 10 and Bridge pickup tone at 10.

The strings are Rickenbacker 45 -105 roundwound strings, and the bass is playing through a
Marshall B25 MK II amp settings: Bass 5 o’clock, Mid 3 o’clock, Treble 5 o’clock
My guitar pick is a Herco Heavy gauge grey nylon pick that I bought new in 1972.
