Wizard MTL mk 2 vs Modern Classic High Gain Shootout
If you dig the content, subscribe. Comparing my Wizard MTL mk 2 and Modern Classic. They are being run through Get Good Drums Contender Series IRs. One side V30, the other side Greenback, just for a bit of width and for two speakers everybody knows. This is through my St Rock React IR, which is in my opinion THE best load box on the market. It is near indistinguishable from a real cab micd up in my opinion. MTL is EL34. MC is 6L6. Anyway, my goal here was dialing them closely but you can definitely hear some differences between the two. MC more middy, MTL bigger and maybe a bit more round. Both are legendary amps in their own right. I’m not a film guy nor claim to be, but I’ll probably grab a go pro and lighting at some point just to make these a bit cleaner.
To hear double tracked check here. First is MC, second MTL.
