I went up to my local guitar shop here in town. Wasn't planning on purchasing nothin… outside of some knowledge and killing some time. I've never been a huge acoustic guy but due to having kids and a wife ? I can't strap up and be plugged into a (jcm800) . I heard "cut it off" more than a man should ????♂️. Long story short I seen the wall of acoustic there and I figured, wth, I picked up obviously the most expensive one , it was a SJ-200 gibson big body worth around 4 grand. Played amazing obviously, I picked up a Yamaha A1M electric and immediately heard a difference in sustain and tone. I feel in the floor after seeing the price tags . I couldn't put the yamaha down , kept coming back to play it , I bought it for around 600 and was really just confused. I don't know if I just found one just set up perfectly for my style of play? But to this day if I'm grabbing an acoustic to jam on? It's this one. I can't speak on all of em but….. if.theyre anything like this guitar ? Buy one. Quality for the price? Is unparalleled
Just got one and it definitely outplays it's price. Compared to several less expensive Taylor's and it was as good as or better. Very clean construction.
can this guitar be plugged into a fender champion amp? if so will it sounds good?
Played 1 today at my local music store. Also played a eastman and epiphone and a Martin. Liked the Yamaha A1M the best. Just has alot bass tone comin off the body. So yes I am sold on this guitar.????

I've had a A1FM since '15. This is the first logical explanation for dat SRT66 preamp I've encountered.
I was in Guitar Center today and this was my favorite in the 500 to 700 range. I like the black one.
