Yamaha Bass & Crate BX 15 Bass Amp Quick Demo “Sound Check”

This is a 90’s Yamaha, Taiwan built, bass…. a pretty solid instrument.

The little bx 15 Crate ia a somewhat rare Amp. They’re great for practicing and home school recording, and vocal reinforcement. It has a 4 band equalizer headphone 1/4 jack, line out 1/4 jack. It’s a dual op amp preamp, with second half being the simplest 3 band EQ used on the equivalent Fender, with an extra pot and one extra resistor and capacitor to turn it into a “4 band equalizer”, a very simple yet good Led/LDR opto compressor and a simple “datasheet application” TDA2030 15W amp.
