Considering this guitar or the FG830.
this guitar is a hidden gem in the industry. It sounds every bit as good as any other high end acoustic. If you invest a bit more in upgrading various parts, then you got it made.
I bought the FG 830 about 2 months ago and I love it. I ordered the FG 820 and Its coming tomorrow. Im excited about this model ????????????????????????????
are 80/20 bronze 12/53 elixir strings good for the 820?
Oh damn that sm57 is pointed right at the sound hole! Big mistake, 12th fret is much better imho….
For almost the same money, I would consider the FGX 800C, since it comes with electronics for amplifier hook-up.
Thanks for the review! Some tips: Better to use a condensor mic, point at the 12th fret (not the sound hole) and make sure the input sound doesn’t clip/distort (2:09) Nevertheless, the FG820 is indeed a great guitar.
Very well done man, I think you could be successful doing reviews! Only thing missing was full blown pick strumming, but otherwise your conciseness and editing was very good
