Could different strings make this sound louder?
Thanks for the review. Is it true that in the budget range, Yamaha is a better choice than Fender? I'm a total beginner choosing between JR1 and Fender Redmond Mini, both have the same price here. Or are there better options for a small-ish reliable guitar for a beginner?
Thanks for an enjoyable few minutes. My jr-1 was a last minute decision (literally) as my wife and I left for an eight month camping trip. I stopped at our mall and bought one. Twelve years ago! It's my couch guitar. and we're still on vacation. and I keep relearning to love the jr-1 (as I stretch for an A with my pinky on the E string while holding a D chord.)
I've not long bought a JR1
Any recommendations on string upgrade to further upgrade the sound quality.
Thanks in advance.
Good demonstration but someone buying a smaller guitar wants to hear how well it stays in tune on the higher frets. One of the major problems with smaller guitars is not going out of tune for bar chords.
im an adult but prefer compact size acoustic guitars. do you think its ok for me to use junior sizes?
thx great info and demo
Is this a 440 standard tuning?
This is the kind of person I want to be friends with. Funny, talented, and knows what he's saying. I enjoyed watching your review. Keep it up!
My JR2 just won't stay in tune. Have you ever run into that with these? Thanks
Im a 5 ft adult. I think this is the one lol
Was gonna go for the Jim Dandy but these are more folky. I dig,
I own Jr2 and it's a blast. I adjusted the action a bit with an allan key and it's the best guitar ever for the get togethers and even personal playing, great sound and exact intonation
Are the necks on these the same width and length as standard
Which one you recommend? Jr1 or axpt2?
THANK YOU
Supposed to be a demo comparison of JR1 & JR2 – think you forgot to play the JR2
Ah yes, my conceal carry guitar
These are 3/4 size? I'd hate to see the 1/2 size in that case, they look tiny. I thought a 21-1/4 scale length was a 1/2 size.
This guitar is just so good for the price, I dont consider it a kids guitar lmao, I bought it who cares, IM AN ADULT
Not sure what YOU call standard but my parlour guitar has 25 1/2 inch from nut to bridge.
I may get the Number 5 pick the FA 15 or the Jr cause I have Yamahas and fender and squire
This was actually very delightful to watch, very informative. Got one of these for a single bill, I think it is well worth it. Solid subscription from me.
Its the best "sitting on the couch" guitar. I have nicer guitars, but I tend to grab this one first when just watching tv or hanging out.
What are the bridge pins and nut made of
Man, between the Taylor GS Minis, the Martin 000jr, the baby Taylor, the PRS Parlor guitar, and now the Yamaha Jr., I'm drowning in all the options I have.
