A modern classic.
Finally a great video of an amp… just simple playing and letting us hear the amp…
Where can I find more of your video amp vids…?
It's a shame Yamaha discontinued these heads. I'll never sell mine.
I like el-34”tubes with class ab circuit and 4 ohms speakers. ❤

Can Yamaha THR100H's loaded presets & patches be selected with a foot switch?
One of the best reviews I've seen for this amp. Not a word spoken, just quick examples of what each setting sounds like. And all from a single guitar, other demo's have been similar except that they are constantly swapping between guitars with different pickup combinations… Was it the amp or the guitar? Again, thanks for staying with a single guitar! A very interesting and useful video! Thanks for posting.
I like it
Ordered this plus cabinet 6 month waiting list
Come on Yamaha
The dual amp is incredible.
Everytime I think the world is losing their supply of assholes, I just check youtube guitar demo comment sections and viola!!
Does it take a bass guitar like the combo does?
Every video I've seen the clean doesn't sound good
Is it possible to set up a clean amp and a distorted one and then switch between the two?
Sounds great, needs the brown modes from the X model, also, channels and at least a delay+reverb effect. The main benefit of modeling is that you kind of get an all in one box, this does NOT get you there…oddly, the smaller THR10X does, though no footswitch there 🙁 I hope Yamaha does a THR100X that is basically this with the brown modes, basic effects (just add delay for god sakes), and at least 4 switchable channels/presets
Hey man great video. I just got mine and have to say I am disappointed but I'm not sure if there is a problem with mine or this is normal.
I get this high-frequency overtones fizzle behind any loud or distorted. It's like I cam hear the main distortion sound but then I get this annoying overtone.
I tried with another cabinet and I thinks it's gone.
Do you have this issue? Is it supposed to be there?
What riff are you playing starting at 1:20?
Y u got Mic stuff up on demos
Thank god yamaha did this, Line6 discontinued the duoverb…the only decent amp they ever made!
it sounds quacky and unrealistic to me,the tone is quite irritating and very untubelike
Ridiculous price. It sounds ok, but nowhere near a real tube amp. Listen to the crunch sound. And for that price I would buy a real tube amp (a little Orange for example, no need to bias) and a booster. Problem solved……
. . . is it too much trouble to ask you to tune the guitar ??
Too bad you couldnt get someone who knows how to play a fuckin guitar. Jesus
i need this
the best demo . we hear the sound of yamaha amp and nothing else. It sounds great !
Sounds good but i'll stick with my kemper.
Sounds horrible!
