  • Caught myself singing along with Disposable Teens at the start of the video! Lifted me out of a bad way.. checking reviews on a replacement practice amp and now have a smile on my face.. thank you sir!

  • Nice bit of Cemetary Gates there! Love this amp. Just wish it had an FX loop as I want to loop with distortion.

  • I just realized why guitar center’s inventory is usually scratched and busted. The employees are busy trying to get famous by making after-hours YouTube reviews. ???? Access to all that free gear…. Priceless! Nothing better than buying a “new” guitar at a (no-compromise) full price with all the manufacturer’s stickers and gouges on the pick guard ????

  • Bought mine in 2013, served me very well. I always liked the hall reverb better than the spring. Really full sounding amp for the size. Recently upgraded to the Positive Grid Spark thought so I'm retiring the 10x now

  • Hello, great demos, keep making more please 🙂 I play at home but i like to play loud. I like to at least have a amp that i play loud at 5 but knowing it could go for 10 🙂 Does it have volume and projection? Can i hear it over a drummer? Obrigado 🙂

  • Quit running your mouth and demo the product. 90% of video is you blabbering instead of demonstrating the Amp……..

  • That was actually a poor review of the unit. It has excellent cleans and with the volume on your guitar rolled back, it does a great crunch sound.

  • Anyone who wants to hear a recording of this little monster, go on YouTube and type David Merlin Dark side of the Sun.
We did ALL guitars with this Yamaha. The tune will blow u away!

  • Yamaha should make a distortion pedal with these features, or make a bigger head that goes to a cab.

  • I use it with a Schecter Guitar Research Damien Platinum 6 it sounds great perfect for metal rock and blues. I have a Gretsch 5622t with 3 super hilotrons pickups, Bigsby B70 vibrato. Use the amp on the clean Channel for jazz and rockabilly, works great.

  • Loved the review, guys! Dagan is really into it. From what I've watched @your and other channels, it's the massive tone and fidelity in a small box like the THR10(X) that (still) makes it a very tempting proposition.

The often posed question is "should I be considering this or the Boss Katana mini?". Having watched the reviews, I don't think they are even in the same product category, despite the obvious physical similarities (as in "compact practice amps"). Correct me if I am wrong, but the Katana mini sounds thin & fizzy in direct comparison with the THR, and I don't mean to stir any controversy asserting this; the Katana mini does play awesome for what it is, but the THR 10 feels like adding an extra dimension, sonically speaking. Well, what do you guys think?

  • I'm afraid you're only five years late … got this back in 2013 and it's still roaring super EVH tones in my arsenal on top of other stuff.
