My name is Jens Larsen, Danish Jazz Guitarist, and Educator. The videos on this channel will help you explore and enjoy Jazz. Some of it is how to play jazz guitar, but other videos are more on Music Theory like Jazz Chords or advice on how to practice and learn Jazz, on guitar or any other instrument.
The videos are mostly jazz guitar lessons, but also music theory, analysis of songs and videos on jazz guitars.

Which one is your favorite? ????
Best way to use the Pentatonic Scale: https://youtube.com/shorts/9nvdIZDEDQY
descending, ascending, inside out, outside in, i'm in.
So many beautiful tones, and your fingers barely seem to move. I am always amazed.
Are these tabs upside down? Or at I reading it wrong? Looks like you have 12th fret 2nd string to start, but it looks like you are playing 12th fret 5th string in the video
Cool Jens
was just complainijg about this yesterday, so used to playing with the start of the arp somewhere in the middle of the fretboard
Is this guy awesome or what!
Didn't know what these were called. Joe Hendersons solo on recorda me has a great example of cascading descending arpeggios.
I like the cascading arpeggios and to my hear, with the last one being the Am, it resolves nicely to a Gmaj chord, so the cascade works over the dominant D7.
You have a fabulous approach to creating beautiful music. Your videos open up the world of listening to guitar jazz, music generally which also inspires a better understanding of the twelve notes for any listener, instrumentalists or philosopher. Thank you.
3rds are always the most beautiful
This is exactly what I need Jens.
Wi-cked Jens ! As a guitarist who reads (sometimes slowly), I appreciate that you write out examples in traditional notation. That way, I can see what is happening as well as hear it. It's also great to learn how to use arpeggios in solos. Thanks 🙂
That's such a great video. Thanks for sharing!
Man, I love your videos. Shorts are great, though, because it's just enough to inspire, then go grab my guitar before I go anywhere else in my mind!
Thank you!!
