Acoustic guitar Ovation review and short play thru

Here’s my short review and playthrough of Ovation acoustic guitar. It features a built in tuner and built in EQ. All runs on a 9v battery. I have used this to record two instrumental albums. Artemortifica Lagorhythmic Spirals part one and part two.

The feel of the guitar is very comfortable. The strings can be both nylon or regular, the choice is yours. There is a lot of resonance so be sure you don’t have close neighbors near by that could complain.

As far as recording you can either record directly from the guitar input or put a mic in front of it. If you really like to experiment you may want to use both methods and work for a richer sound during post processing.
