As a massive One Piece fan, I’m on my knees praying that this will do great. However, Netflix has branded themselves as near completely untrustworthy when it comes to adapting other works into live action. If it ends up being great, then fantastic! But if it ends up being bad, no One Piece fan will EVER let Netflix forget it
Arlong man…I am having trouble getting past it. Worst cosplay I have ever seen. The least threatening they could have possibly made him. I think everything will be fine outside of that. We haven’t seen anything yet that is groundbreaking enough to reach outside the anime pop culture crowd. The average Joe just isn’t going to watch it. Nothing viral in the promotion.
